The Mishcon Solicitor Apprenticeship is a six year programme. You will gain an LLB (Hons) in Legal Practice from The University of Law and at the end of the programme you will qualify as a solicitor. All of your tuition fees will be paid and best of all, you will earn a salary whilst you are training and gaining your qualification.

Apprenticeship summary

Responsibilities will vary dependent on each rotation and will increase and evolve as you progress through the programme.  They may include:

  • Assisting lawyers with cases with close supervision
  • Communication with clients and attending client meetings
  • Drafting correspondence and reports
  • Answering phones and preparing files
  • Drafting invoices
  • Attending training sessions, both departmental and those put on by our in-house Academy.

    £20,000.00

  • Working week

    In the first four years you will complete four annual rotations and in the final two years you will join the graduate trainees and complete four 6 month rotations. You will be working for four days per week and spend one day studying.

Future prospects

By the end of your apprenticeship, subject to satisfactory character and suitability, you will be a fully qualified solicitor and registered with the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA). You will then be invited to apply and interview for a permanent Associate Solicitor role at Mishcon de Reya in your preferred practice area.
