Apprenticeship summary

We are hiring a Degree Apprentice to join the Pearson College London Team. This is an exciting role, where you'll work on a wide range of projects, gaining valuable experience in the real-world of work. As a Degree Apprentice you'll be paid an annual salary, gain 3 years work experience, study a BA (Hons) Business Management degree at Pearson Business School and have your tuition fees paid in full. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to get into the world of work, earn money and gain a degree!

Duties will include:

  • Creating content for Pearson College London’s social media channels
  • Supporting internal communications
  • Collating content pieces
  • Offering press office assistance
  • Support the Head of Communications to create various reports

Beyond this role, there is the opportunity to explore different areas of Pearson Plc., as previous degree apprentices have.

Desired Skills

  • An interest in communications and content
  • Experience of using social media (Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise multiple projects
  • A willingness to learn new skills
  • Commitment to completing the degree apprenticeship. You must demonstrate the determination to balance the commitment of a full-time role and part-time degree over 3 years

Personal qualities

Previous office/admin/marketing experience.

  • Eligible to study in the UK
  • English Language and maths GCSE grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
  • Passion for business
  • Aged 18+ (would need to have completed their former qualification before applying and for safeguarding reasons)
  • If you are studying A levels or completing further education you must be due to complete your qualification(s) by September 2020. We are unable to progress applications for students that are part way through their current studies

Future prospects

After 3 years you’ll have completed your Degree Apprenticeship, gained your honours degree, plus you’ll have a CV full of experience!
