Duties to include;

  • To assist skilled electricians by supplying materials, equipment, and tools at the scene of jobs
  • To participate in stringing overhead wires and cables
  • To install underground conduit and wire
  • To perform less difficult or routine installations and repairs of motors and generators, replaces brushes, bearings, and makes connections and terminations
  • Weekly wage

Desired Skills

  • Ability to read and comprehend written material at a level appropriate
  • Understand and follow written and oral instructions in the English language
  • Good communication skills are required
  • Work cooperatively with others

Personal qualities

  • Candidates should have a keen interest in working in an industrial contracting environment
  • Applicants should be conscientious with a willingness to learn
  • Practical skills, strong problem-solving skills, well organised, thorough and methodical
  • Perceives the full range of the colour spectrum (Example: working with electrical wires)

Desired qualifications

  • All candidates must complete the JTL Entry Assessment
  • Candidates should have GCSEs or equivalent, with a pass in maths
