Apprenticeship summary

We are looking to recruit an apprentice to become part of the production team. We are a growing business with an entrepreneurial mindset.

The key duties associated with the role:

  • Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and environmental on the project
  • Actively promote a strong health and safety culture
  • Prepare tender document to package to be procured
  • Ensure subcontractors on site are working as per their method statement and risk assessment
  • Responsible for the quality of works on site
  • Record the quality inspections (Work Inspection Records / pictures / reports)
  • Review the Risk Assessment and Method Statement
  • Manage the snagging and de-snagging process
  • Participate to coordination meeting with all trades
  • Management of self-production teams
  • Prepare payment certificate of subcontractors
  • Follow and update programme of works
  • Carried out health and safety inspection
  • Ensure equipment inspections are up to date
  • Participate to Health and safety meetings
  • Weekly wage

    £365.00

    Monday - Friday between 8.30am - 5.30pm

Desired qualifications

Apprenticeship applicants will have:

  • Level 4 Building Services Engineering Technician Apprenticeship
  • Level 4 HNC in Building Services Engineering
  • Cognate Level 4 qualification in Construction and the Built Environment
  • GCSE Maths and English A*-C/9-4 or Equivalent

Future prospects

  • Become a Site Manager, or Project director one day, part of the production team
  • Move to an estimating role in our Head office
  • Mobility if wanted – overseas (France, Portugal depending on available positions)
